BUNNIES!

We have bunnies! Covid19 and days that feel like years makes for some crazy decisions! Until now, our kiddos pets have been the lizards they've found in the back yard. The closest thing to a true pet was the bird we rescued literally crossing the road one day. But... at the offer of sweet friends we adopted three precious little ones! The kids are over the moon happy and have done a fantastic job caring for the bunnies!!!

The kids charged daddy and embraced him in a group hug when he told them we could have bunies!

Here are our kiddos with the Pinhero kids who gifted us with the bunnies and taught us how to care for them!

Meet Marshmallow! He was our first arrival.

Daddy built a great home for the bunnies to be protected from predators at night!

Meet Aslan. Check out his lion's mane! Sometimes called Gordo (Fatty).

This is Fofo (Cutie). Fofo was only with us for a few days. We learned Fofo was actual Fofa - a girl. Daddy was very clear that only boy bunnies are allowed in the Pierce Wood!

Quarantine Photo Log

About eight weeks ago our world changed. In a few days time, rumblings of a disease that plagued the world across the Atlantic Ocean altered everything we knew as normal. From one day to the next, we were no longer able to leave our homes. Terms like "quarentine, social isolation, stay home, shut down, pandemic, closed" permeated our every interaction. Cornavirus, or COVID19 invaded our lives uninvited to make the largest health impact on world history since Spanish Flu in the early 1900s. Hastily our world leaders began to make recommendations to stop the virus's spread.

If you are reading this in 2020, of course this is the farthest thing from "NEWS" for you. But I suspect a personal reflection like this will be something my kids pull up one day in their future to tell my grandchildren what they lived through and how deeply effected their lives were. So in light of that, I thought it pertinent to have a photo log of our time thus far as we've applied the government suggested regulations.

This is by no means a complete log of our time since Covid19 hit, but it paints a picture what we've been up to.
